Elements of Alchemy
Creative Writing
I have always enjoyed writing and was first 'published' aged 5 in the school magazine, when I wrote a story about a snail who used a fresh strawberry every morning as her lipstick. But one morning she picked an unripe one, and ended up with green lipstick instead of red.

The stories here have come from my imagination, often including elements of symbolism, surrealism and quirky (sometimes dark/deranged) humour. They are based on different ideas/themes, but are all, in one way or another, tales of transformation.

Digging for Treasure - A Journey through the Astrological Symbolism of the Planets

This has been published on the website of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids in their collection of online resources. It is a fairytale of sorts, with further pages of in-depth explanation into the symbolism used.

A Fishy Tail - The Story of a Maidmer
A weird and slightly deranged story of a Maidmer (a round the wrong way Mermaid). A 'moral' tale, which also references some of our planet's political/ecological issues.
Illustrations for this and the printed 'zine' version can be seen HERE.
